At almost 3 000 meters of altitude, the summit of the Pic du Midi and its surroundings slopes are now accessible to free ride. Unforgettable landscapes and high sensations for snow riders !

Important : it is a high mountain spot, that has no marker, no surveillance, no equipment. Access is submitted to signature of a particular form (see here under).

The VTT for the sportsmen

To hurl towards the valley, upright on the pedals, in a strong playing field in feelings.

Amateurs to abstain ! An adapted material and a good knowledge of the high mountain is essential.

Each cyclist will have to sign a certificate (see hereafter) before launching out on the slope. The minors not accompanied by a legal representative will not have the right to go down.

Becareful, this space of full nature, neither is supervised, neither arranged, nor marked out.

From 2007 July 1st to September 30 th, two cable cars per day are reserved for the access to the site : 15 bicycles in the first cabin at 8.50 AM and 15 others in the afternoon at 4.45 PM. Tickets are at the same price than the usual visit to the site : 30 € / adult. You have not to reserve, you have to be present for the schedule which interest you.
